Clamping force

The high clamping forces of the VC series can be adjusted via the torque applied to the spindle. This allows you to clamp plastic workpieces securely without deformation and forged parts without damaging the clamp.

Accessibility

The low-profile design of the VC series allows installation on all plates, towers and pyramids whilst accommodating maximum workpiece sizes. The clamp’s well-thought-out design minimises protrusions on both sides.

Flexibility

The well-thought-out drilling pattern of the two standard base variants covers perforated plates with 40 mm and 50 mm pitch. The modules can be mounted on the plate independently and rotated by 30°. This enables complex clamping arrangements, including configurations approximating a three-jaw chuck.

Compact

The compact clamping unit fits onto any plate or tower to enable large clamping forces. Its low weight facilitates manual changeovers.

Low-maintenance

Thanks to its enclosed design, chips do not accumulate anywhere inside the clamping unit. The spindle remains free of chips, which reduces maintenance to a minimum.

Short set-up times

The VC series can be fitted with various mounting options. The standard Gremotool base is suitable for slotted tables and perforated plates. Solutions for pallet systems and zero-point clamping systems are also available.

Extensive range of jaws

The entire Gremotool range of jaws can be used on the VC series. From gripping jaws to soft aluminium jaws, all workpiece clamping requirements are catered for. 

The jaws are fitted with the standard Gremotool jaw system. This means you can change the jaws in no time at all.

Locking

The clamping module features a locking screw to secure it in place. This function allows soft jaws to be precisely adjusted to the workpiece without the need for a turn-off ring or external fixings.
