Workpiece clamping

The aim of any clamping device is to secure the workpiece precisely and firmly in place without deforming it excessively. To ensure this is achieved in every case, Gremotool clamping systems can be fitted with various types of jaws across all series and sizes.

Soft jaws

If the workpiece lacks parallel surfaces for clamping, soft jaws are used. Before clamping, the contour of the workpiece is milled into the jaws, ensuring that the component is held precisely and securely across its entire shape within the jaws. 

Various types

Gremotool’s range of jaws is as diverse as the spectrum of workpieces. Jaws are available for every clamping requirement, and if the catalogue range is insufficient, please contact Gremotool; we will be happy to advise you on the correct selection.

Supplied in pairs

All Gremotool jaws are supplied in pairs. This is to enable the clamping system to be put into use as quickly as possible. All Gremotool clamping systems are supplied with standard jaws as standard. However, to expand the range of applications and make the most of the clamping system’s flexibility, additional jaws can be requested.
