RC-38 L=200

The RailClamp series is a modular system that is ideally suited to modern manufacturing. Thanks to the simple design of the individual modules, they can be deployed quickly and flexibly for a variety of clamping situations. As a result, even complex workpiece geometries or multiple clamping operations are no longer a problem. The interchangeable jaw inserts can be replaced in no time at all and provide a downward clamping force. The position of the modules can be clearly identified, ensuring that clamping is carried out correctly from the outset during re-tooling or set-up.

Clamping force

The high clamping forces of the RC series can be adjusted by varying the torque applied to the clamping screw. This allows you to clamp plastic workpieces securely without deformation and forged parts without damaging the clamp.


Compact

The compact clamping module fits onto any plate or tower to enable high clamping forces. Its low weight and modular design make manual changeovers easier. The short modules allow multiple clamping points to be set up in a space-saving manner.


Modular

The system is designed to offer two different lengths of base rail. These can be fitted with four different modules. All modules can be used with the same jaw inserts. This design allows the clamping device to be individually adapted to any workpiece. Multiple clamping set-ups can also be configured in just a few simple steps.


Downward force effect

The jaw inserts have a slight bevel on the back. This ensures that, upon contact with the workpiece, the jaw inserts move downwards until they reach the stop. In doing so, the workpiece is pulled downwards and always lies flat.

Accessibility

Thanks to its slim design, even smaller workpieces can be accessed from the side. The spindle, fitted with the machining tool, is able – due to the height of the RC series – to machine the workpiece from both sides without the risk of collision with the table or turret. The interchangeable jaws allow for various clamping depths on the workpiece.


Flexibility

Thanks to the interchangeability of the four basic modules in the RC series, any clamping configuration can be set up flexibly. The RC series and its modules can be mounted on any perforated panel or T-slot table in just a few simple steps. The clamping jaws can be replaced without the need for screws.


Short set-up times

Thanks to the modular design of the RC series, the individual workpiece clamping modules can be set up in no time at all on the T-slot table, perforated plate or turret. The labels on the sides allow the workpiece clamping arrangement to be documented and recreated identically at a later date.


Low-maintenance

Thanks to the design of the individual components, no chips remain in the system. This means the components are less exposed to wear and damage. With fewer foreign particles in the system, maintenance requirements are minimised.


Supplied ready for use

RC gripping jaws are supplied with every fixing and clamping module. This means the module can be used straight out of the box, without the need for any additional materials or jaws for the clamping device.
