Pneumatic centre clamp
The PneumaticMechanicalClamp series was designed for mass production to meet today’s industrial requirements. Thanks to its versatility, it no longer matters whether the workpiece is loaded into the centre clamp by the user or by a robot. The PMC series is the most reliable centre clamp for automated 5-axis machining.
Triple clamping reliability
The internal design of the PMC series ensures that the workpiece is held securely even in the event of a pressure drop. Only the pressurised operating medium can move the mechanical components and, consequently, the jaws. This effect is further enhanced by the built-in springs. This makes it impossible to move the clamp without the control medium.
High and adjustable clamping force
High clamping forces ensure a secure hold, but can also lead to deformation of the workpiece. For this reason, the PMC series offers the best solution. When the PMC is operated at maximum pressure, the centre clamp guarantees high clamping forces. If these are too high, the clamping force can be individually adjusted to suit the workpiece via the built-in differential pressure valve.
Wide range of jaws
The entire Gremotool range of jaws can be used on the PMC series. From gripping jaws to soft aluminium jaws, there is a solution to meet every workpiece clamping requirement.
The jaws are fitted with the standard Gremotool jaw system. This means you can change the jaws in no time at all.
