GHS-120

The Gremotool High-Pressure Clamp series is a machine vice suitable for any manufacturing application. Equipped with an easy-to-use force multiplier, it achieves maximum clamping force with minimal effort on the crank, securely holding the workpiece in place. The versatile GHS series can be used for a wide range of clamping tasks.

Clamping force

The high clamping forces of the GHS series can be easily adjusted using the adjustment ring. The set values can then be achieved with minimal effort by turning the crank. These adjustment options allow plastic workpieces to be clamped securely without deformation, and forged parts to be clamped securely without damaging the vice.

Clamping options

The GHS series can be mounted on the machine table as a standard vice with a fixed jaw. It can also be placed on the fixed jaw and attached to a turret or angle plate. The GHS series can also be laid on its side to provide specialised clamping options.

Accessibility

The flat design of the GHS series allows installation on pallets, towers and pyramids whilst accommodating workpieces of maximum size. The GHS series has very minimal protrusions, which enables the flexible machining of a wide variety of workpieces.

Short set-up times

The GHS series is equipped with various mounting options. The standard base allows the vice to be secured easily and precisely to T-slot tables, perforated panels or pallet systems.

Positioning

The alignment bores and slot nuts in the base of the main body allow the required centring elements to be fitted. This enables a positioning accuracy of +/- 0.01 mm. This also allows a workpiece to be clamped across multiple GHS units.

Low-maintenance

As all parts of the clamping mechanism are enclosed, no swarf or coolant can reach them. This ensures that the factory lubrication is not washed out or contaminated, which contributes to long-lasting lubrication.

Extensive range of accessories

A wide variety of jaw inserts are available for the GHS series. From gripping jaws to soft aluminium jaws, there is something to suit every workpiece clamping requirement. The GHS can also be driven from above using the angle drive, and the parallel supports serve as workpiece supports.
